If you're looking for a place that offers 'filling and tasty' all-day breakfasts this weekend, Bagel Brunch in the city centre is the place to go. The Coventry coffee shop has been praised for offering 'excellent breakfast options' with 'the best coffee' in town.

Bagel Brunch is a family-run business where customers can 'meet with loved ones' and treat themselves to a variety of dishes. Brunch is said to be a combination of breakfast and lunch, with the eatery offering dishes inspired 'all around the world' to the city centre where you can 'start your weekend'.

The shop has been open since 2019 and has become a cafe that connects people and unites them towards charitable causes. Bosses say they are not here just to 'sell bagels' but to 'make a difference' in the community, like the popular afternoon tea events which have raised funds for national charities.

Bagel Brunch aims to continue to be an 'asset' to the community and bring more people together which can often feel like 'a lonely world'. The team wants you to make 'genuinely human connections' with others or 'take a break' to sit back, relax and reflect.

The coffee shop offers a cosy and terraced covered seating, the daily newspaper, free WiFi, a selection of books to read, and leaflets so customers can stay up to date with what is going on in Coventry. They offer a unique southern Italy coffee blend, bagels, and a salad bar, and are a 'highly recommended place' for traditional English breakfasts, the Lebanese halal grilled hotdogs, and vegetarian breakfasts.

Full English breakfast - 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 2 fried eggs, 1 hash brown, beans, mushrooms and toast with free tea or regular Americano. £8.95.
Lebanese Breakfast - 2 Fried eggs, humus, labneh, fetta cheese, green olives and salad on the side. £9.95.
Bagel Brunch’s big Breakfast - 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, 1 hash brown, beans, mushrooms, Chips, Grilled tomato and toast with tea or regular Americano. £10.50
Grilled Halloumi cheese and pesto bagel - with grilled peppers and fresh tomato. £7.90.
Smoked salmon Deluxe bagel - with smoked salmon, avocado, rocket, cream cheese, lemon & pepper. £8.95.
Greek special bagel - with feta cheese, sundried tomato, black olives, red onion & tomato chutney. £7.50.
BLT bagel - with bacon, lettuce, tomato & mayo. £7.50.
Hungry Shakshooka - Shakshooka, cooked with minced lamb meat and served with flatbread. £10.95.
Egyptian Foul - slow-cooked fava beans with tahini, and garlic and topped up by tomato, parsley, and olive oil. served with fresh salad and green olives. £9.95.

Bagel Brunch has a 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor, with other ratings including food (4.5/5), service (4.5/5), value (4.5/5) and atmosphere (4/5). The eatery also has a 4.4-star rating on Google reviews.

Celeste B said: "This place was so wholesome and warm immediately on arrival. Me and my friend both had lunch, she had a gluten-free bagel, and I had a chicken wrap. Mine was so tasty and succulent, she expressed hers to be flavoursome and moreish.

"Food was delivered hot and promptly to our tables. Overall the staff were all great, everyone made us feel welcome and pretty much everyone engaged in a conversation at some point."

Alexander K said: "Cosy cafe, friendly servers and delicious fresh food. The coffees are strong and the breakfast options are excellent. The bagels are worth trying, also had the Lebanese breakfast and they have a little mix and match 3 for 2.50 deal of small treats at the front of the store."

Another diner added: "The restaurant was very clean and comfortable with cute decor, the staff were lovely and the milkshake was so tasty for a hot day! The Lebanese breakfast was filling enough for two, so I’ll come back next time to try the pretty cakes."
