Coventry pubs showing the crucial England Euro 2024 semi-final match

Excitement is building for England in the Euros 2024. The national team is through to the semi-finals after drawing with Switzerland 1-1 but winning on penalties on Saturday, July 6.

All eyes will be on the match tomorrow (July 10) at 8pm against the Netherlands for a spot in the Euro 2024 final, with a chance to 'bring it home'. Team members such as Jude Bellingham and Buyako Saka have been classed as 'heroes' by scoring goals and penalties to help the national team move forward, despite 'disappointing' performances earlier on in fixtures.

HMV Empire

Entertainment venue HMV Empire has been described as Coventry's 'number one fan zone' to watch the semi-finals, with free tickets and a free drink for adults from Carling, Orchard Pig Cider, Tetley's, any bottled beer or large soft drink. There is also a bottomless ticket for those under 18's for unlimited soft drinks on tap.

The bars will be open from 5pm, with four cinema screens and TVs complemented by the city's 'biggest sound system'. There will also be 2-4-1 cocktails, free crisps, and soft drinks for the kids, a family and concessions seated area, and a DJ before and after the game.

Singing and chanting are said to be 'essential' and flags welcome, with England flags and hats provided for the occasion, food vendors will also be available outside the venue.

The Castle Grounds

The Castle Grounds in Coventry city centre will be showing the live action on the HD screens with an 'electrifying atmosphere' alongside various food and drink deals such as 25% off bottomless brunch, 40p wings, or try the Euro-inspired food such as the Kaiser Burger and The Jurgen Pizza. On the other hand, events venue Rialto Plaza will be offering the 'biggest and best fanzone experience' with huge screens, full stage production, and lighting. Coventry's LGBTQ+ venue The Yard have created the city's only LGBTQ+ fan zone in partnership with Proud Sky Blues - Coventry City FC's LGBTQ+ Supporters Club. There will be a live screening at the venue on the huge screens, with food and drinks offers such as 4 Budweiser for £10, 3 shots for £5, 2 bombs for £6, and 2-4-1 on all pizzas.
