Crash blocks Cambridgeshire road with motorists advised to avoid area

Motorists have been advised to avoid a Cambridgeshire road after a crash on Thursday afternoon (May 2). Station Road in Parson Drove is completely blocked following the crash.

Police were called at 1.51pm with reports of a crash. It involved two cars and a lorry.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said all drivers were out of their vehicles. Some had suffered minor injuries.

The force spokesperson added: "The road is completely blocked, drivers advised to avoid the area."

Traffic monitoring site Inrix said shortly before 3pm: "Reports of heavy traffic due to accident on B1166 Main Road in both directions at B1187 Murrow Bank."
