'So Creepy': Farm Animals 'Confused' by Solar Eclipse

At a farm in Oberlin, Ohio, Monday’s solar eclipse prompted a confused reaction from some of the animals, according to their owner.

“My fur and feathered babies got scared,” farmer Tammy Tunison told Storyful. One of her goats, named Junior, was particularly perplexed by the sudden change in light. “He looked at me as if to say, should we be in bed?” she said.

The sudden darkness was accompanied by the sounds of nocturnal creatures, Tunison said.

“This is really creepy,” she can be heard saying in the video. “This is unbelievable.”

“The golden ring of the sun around the moon was breathtaking […] It was so beautiful to see,” she said.

Tunison regularly films humorous videos of her goats and other pets, posting them to her Hobby Farm Facebook account. Credit: Tammy Tunison via Storyful
