Criminal Caught By Police After Posting His Wanted Poster As Facebook Profile Picture

A bungling criminal was caught by cops after he took the not-so-bright decision to use his own wanted poster as a Facebook profile picture.

Mack Yearwood, 42, went on the run in Florida after a suspected assault, and it wasn’t long before police started their investigations.

But their investigation was short-lived when they found Mack’s mugshot attached to a Facebook profile, and proceeded to track him down.

When caught by police on Tuesday, he went even further in proving that he isn’t the sharpest tool in the box - with an ounce of weed falling from his jeans when police asked him to hand them over.

He’s now been charged with marijuana possession, and also faces allegations of assault.

Responding to his arrest in a Facebook post, fittingly, Corporal Brian Bossio said: ‘If you are wanted by the police, it’s probably not a good idea to use the ‘Wanted of the Week’ poster of yourself as your profile pic.’

Would-be criminals, you have been warned.
