Crossbow victim's heartbroken boyfriend pays tribute to 'brave queen' killed with her mum and sister

The heartbroken boyfriend of crossbow victim Hannah Hunt who was killed alongside her mum and sister has paid a moving tribute to his 'brave queen'.

Following her tragic death, Alex Klein described 28-year-old Hannah as the 'love of his life'.

Hannah, her sister Louise, 25, and mum Carol, 61, were killed in a barbaric attack involving a crossbow at their home in Bushey, Herts on Tuesday.

Posting on social media, grief-stricken Alek called Hannah his "brave queen" and said she was "the brightest light" in his life.

In a moving tribute, he said: "RIP the love of my life, I will never forget you, stolen from me too soon. The brightest light in my life. My brave queen for life. Until we meet again... I love you Hansy." He also shared images of them both sharing a kiss in a swimming pool, adding, "forever with me".

All three women, who were the wife and daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt - were still alive when police and emergency services - including two air ambulances - were called to their home on Ashlyn Close before 7pm. It's understood the trio made a brave attempt to get help in their final moments, reports the Mirror.

Neighbour Glyn Nicholas, 77, told MailOnline: "Louise was a very nice girl. She ran a dog grooming business from the house. I heard that she split from a boyfriend last week and was very upset about it. So much so that she was driving home at some point last week and drove into a wooden telegraph pole not far from the house."

Dozens of flowers and tributes meanwhile have been left near the family home in the town after the community was left reeling by the news. John and Carol also have another daughter Amy, who is believed to live in Birmingham.

Suspect Kyle Clifford was found on Wednesday afternoon in a cemetery in Enfield, North London, after Hertfordshire Police launched a major manhunt. He remains in a serious condition in hospital, as police confirmed no shots were fired by officers.
