Crossing Guard in Unicorn Costume Brightens Up Snowy School Run

Crossing guard Kelly Seaton made a snowy morning a little bit magical for students of Berthoud Elementary School, Colorado, on October 30 when she wore a colorful unicorn costume to work.

Local parent Meagan Schrecengost recorded this video of Seaton in action outside the elementary school, as the ground was coated in sludgy snow.

Schrecengost filmed first from her car, and then from the sidewalk while Seaton did a “birthday party dance” with Schrecengost’s son, Ridley. Schrecengost said that Seaton and Ridley shared a birthday on the day of filming.

She wrote on Facebook “Kelly Seaton you made this boy’s birthday party day start magical. He sure loves you as does this community. Thank you and happy birthday to the best crossing guard!” Credit: Meagan Schrecengost via Storyful
