Cruz Beckham Will Go ‘Back To School’ Following Release Of Christmas Single

You can all stop calling social services now – it turns out that Bieber 2.0 aka Cruz Beckham WILL be going back to school after he’s finished promoting his new single.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the Beckham family said that Cruz has no interest – not yet, anyway – in becoming a full-time pop star and instead just wants to press ahead with his studies:

“Everyone has gone totally mad over Cruz’s little Christmas record. But that’s all this ever was — just a kid who loves to sing doing something for his local radio station’s charity.”

The 11-year-old, who has just been signed up by Justin Bieber’s agent Scooter Braun, has released his festive charity single - If Every Day Was Christmas – and it’s storming up the charts.

“Cruz is intent on staying at school and being a full-time pupil, not becoming a pop star. Everyone got swept away on a wave of pushy parents, record deals and albums, but the truth is it’s so much more simple.”

“There is no album or touring with Justin Bieber, as has been suggested. It’s just a one-off Christmas song.“

“Cruz loves singing and as Scooter [Braun, Cruz’s manager] is a friend of David’s, he offered for Cruz to hang out at Rodney’s house, skateboard with his kids and use the studio. But there is no pop masterplan. He is 11 and very much a little boy at school doing something cool and Christmassy for charity.”
