Cyndi Lauper Announces 23-City Farewell Tour

Singer Cyndi Lauper has announced a farewell tour that will take her to 23 North American cities beginning this fall.

Although the dates are billed as the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, Lauper did not indicate why she’s leaving the road after all these years. A new documentary about the True Colors singer-songwriter, Let The Canary Sing, debuts tomorrow on Paramount+.

The tour kicks off October 18 in Montreal and currently wraps up December 5 in Chicago. The tour includes a pre-Halloween stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on October 30, and a November 23 date at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome.

Opening acts will be announced at a later date.
