Yahoo News Daisy Edgar-Jones Goes Backless With Twisted Neckline in Gucci Dress for ‘Twisters’ Red Carpet Premiere
Daisy Edgar-Jones favored a streamlined aesthetic for the premiere of her film “Twisters” in Los Angeles on Thursday. The actress was joined by costars Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos and more for the red carpet event.
Edgar-Jones wore a white gown courtesy of Gucci. The sleeveless dress featured a high, asymmetric neckline and streamlined silhouette that flowed to the red carpet. The most striking element of the dress, however, was featured on the back.

Edgar-Jones’ gown had a backless element, which was prominently on display when the “Normal People” breakout star turned around. On the back of the dress, fabric was draped in an asymmetric style, with one band cascading down Edgar-Jones’s back.
The actress paired her gown with pieces of gold jewelry, including statement earrings, rings and a bangle on her forearm. Edgar-Jones’ brown hair, styled by Bryce Scarlett, was pulled back into a ponytail with her fringe to frame her face.
The star’s makeup featured a subtle smokey eye and natural lip by Jo Baker. Edgar-Jones’ look was curated by stylist Dani Michelle.
The actress previously wore a Gucci look during the press tour for “Twisters.” While in London on Tuesday, Edgar-Jones fashioned a sheer blouse with a lace bralette underneath, which she paired with a floral-print midi skirt. Both pieces were from Gucci’s cruise 2025 collection.
Along with posing for a few solo photos at the Los Angeles premiere, Edgar-Jones joined her fellow cast members, including Glen Powell. The actor suited up in a monochrome military green double-breasted bespoke suit look by Brioni.
“Twisters” follows Kate Hooper (Edgar-Jones), a former tornado-chaser and meteorologist, who returns to Oklahoma to work with new technology and a new team, including thrill-seeking Tyler Owens (Powell), to chase tornados once again. The film is directed by Lee Isaac Chung and hits theaters July 19.
