Daisy Ridley Says She Kept a Lightsaber and Ring from “Star Wars”: ‘They’re in a Safe Place’ (Exclusive)

Daisy Ridley kept some souvenirs from her Star Wars days.
The actress, 31, portrayed the character of Rey in The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
When her time working on the sequel series came to an end, Ridley tells PEOPLE in this week's issue that she took home some props to remember her time in the space-set universe.
"From Star Wars I have a lightsaber and the ring that I wore as Dark Rey. And John Williams gave me a signed piece of the score, which was phenomenal," she says. "They’re all in a very safe location."
Ridley — who stars in two new films, Magpie and Sometimes I Think About Dying — spoke to the magazine for One Last Thing:
Last moment of bliss
I’m a big believer in being grateful, and I was FaceTiming my mom in London yesterday, and I made her really laugh. It was just wonderful, you know?
Last moment of self-care
I didn’t move from the sofa. I’d been running around like crazy and had other stuff to do, but I was like, “For 20 minutes I’m going to sit here and not do anything.”

Last wardrobe malfunction
I went to an audition, and I was wearing a sticky bra. It was so hot that midway through the audition it became unstuck and went down my jumpsuit. I did not get that job.
Last superstition
It’s funny because my film is Magpie, but in England if you see a magpie by itself, it’s bad luck, so you have to salute it and say, “Good morning, Mr. Magpie.” I do that a lot. Here [in the U.S.] people are like, “Why is she saluting a bird?”
