Damage Reported as Tornado Touches Down in Liberal, Kansas

The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed a tornado touched down in Liberal, Kansas, on Sunday, February 26, causing damage to a home and downed power lines, according to KWCH.

One woman was injured during the tornado, according to local media citing Greg Sanders, the Seward County director of emergency management.

Footage captured by Luiz Chavez on Kansas Avenue, Liberal, shows a funnel cloud rotating as tornado sirens sound.
