Watch: Dan Walker 'storms off' Good Morning Britain in dig at old rival Piers Morgan
Dan Walker has had a jab at Piers Morgan, mocking his walkout on Good Morning Britain.
Appearing on the breakfast show to promote his debut hosting Channel 5's news later on Monday, he proceeded to joke about Morgan's controversial exit from the programme last year.
Joining Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley in the ITV studio, Walker abruptly stood up from behind the desk and said: "I’m going to do what they normally do on this programme. Storm off."

Walker then proceeded to head towards the studio exit and shouted: "See you at five o’clock on Channel 5!"
Reid also joked that only "one person" had ever stormed off the set before and added: "It is a stage that has been set for you."
Morgan infamously stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain in March 2021 to never return. At the time, he was having an on-air argument with weatherman Alex Beresford about the former newspaper editor's comments regarding Meghan Markle.

Morgan had repeatedly said he did not believe Markle regarding her claims of being a victim of racism from other members of the royal family.
He also dismissed her claims of suicidal thoughts. More than 57,000 people complained about Morgan's comments on the show but he was later cleared by Ofcom of any wrongdoing.
Markle herself would also complain to Ofcom about his comments.
Walker and Morgan had a long-running rivalry during their time as BBC and ITV breakfast news hosts, often baiting each other on Twitter about their respective ratings.
Since quitting Good Morning Britain, Morgan has moved to Rupert Murdoch's TalkTV to host Piers Morgan Uncensored.
After debuting to over 300,000 viewers, the show has plummeted in the ratings with a recent broadcast finishing on only 10,000 viewers.
The newly launched channel is frequently beaten in the ratings by fellow right wing targeting channel GB News which counts Nigel Farage as one of its hosts.
Guests to have appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored include former president Donald Trump, John Lydon and Tyson Fury.
