Dancing on Ice star Amber Davies has announced her next career move, which will see her at the helm of a podcast.

The reality TV star, known for taking part in the third season of Love Island in 2017, has taken to Instagram to share her exciting new endeavour with her 1.3 million followers.

Davies — who's a stage actress who's starred in musical productions of 9 to 5, Bring It On, Back to the Future and Pretty Woman — will host theatre-focused podcast Your 5-Minute Call.

"I wanted to create a happy space where we can have good healthy conversations about the highs, lows, the good and the more challenging times when it comes to the industry we all live, breathe & adore," Davies wrote in the caption, explaining the concept of her show.

"We have the most iconic West End guests joining [side eye emoji] and I can't wait for us all to go on this journey together, the theatre community really is WHERE IT'S AT!!!" she added.

Recently, Davies has weighed in on her stint on Dancing On Ice after appearing on the second episode with pro partner Simon Senecal.

"WELL I feel like I'm living in a completely dream world right now," she wrote on Instagram, captioning a carousel of memorable moments from the show.

"The hardest challenge of my LIFE but I'm embracing every single second which includes lots of tears BUT MOSTLY LOTS OF BELLY LAUGHING!" she continued, teasing a Barbie-inspired number in the next episode.

"I also feel like I've struck gold with this incredible cast and production team we really are each other's cheerleaders."

Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
