Dancing on Ice professional skater Brianne Delcourt has announced she will be leaving the ITV programme 10 years after she first joined.
It comes as the 39-year-old has returned to live permanently in her native Canada and is looking to spend more time with her three-year-old daughter Gracie as well as focusing on her upcoming wedding to Kevin Kilbane.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, she said: "It has been a back-and-forth question mark in my mind for some time now. The hardest part will be missing my DoI family and I have so much to thank the show for, including introducing me to my absolute soulmate in Kevin.
"I'm 39 – 40 in February – and I've been on the road for so long and as a working mum – a single mum. I really had to work hard for everything on my own. The show has been a huge part of my life and part of Gracie's too."
She added that ITV had been "super supportive" of her decision. The star debuted on the show in 2010, coming in third place with actor Kieron Richardson before winning the following year with actor Sam Attwater.
The mother-of-one also came in second place in the 2013 series with celeb Matt Lipinskas and returned to the competition in 2018 after it took a four-year break from screens.
Delcourt met Kilbane when the pair were partnered up for the most recent series of Dancing on Ice which aired earlier this year. Four months after meeting, the couple announced their engagement.
The skater told the publication they are planning on tying the knot next summer in Ireland.
Kilbane was previously married to wife Laura for 12 years before splitting in 2011, and they share two daughters, Elsie and Isla.
