Dancing with the Stars spoilers follow.

Dancing with the Stars has confirmed the launch date for season 32.

The US version of Strictly Come Dancing has already shaken things up by announcing it will simulcast new episodes on both Disney+ and ABC, and now it's switching up its air dates, too.

DWTS has traditionally aired its live shows on Mondays for years, but ABC is changing things by rescheduling the show's premiere episode for Tuesday, September 26 at 8pm ET.

This launch show will be given an extended two-and-a-half hour run-time, as the programme permanently relocates to Tuesdays for the rest of the season.

Headline-grabbing Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix was announced as the first celebrity joining this year's DWTS lineup all the way back in July.

The show has also confirmed that The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson will be taking part this year, as will Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears.

The rest of Dancing with the Stars' season 32 cast will be officially unveiled on Good Morning America on Wednesday (September 13).

This new season will be the first without long-time head judge Len Goodman, who stepped away from Dancing with the Stars at the end of last year and has since passed away.

Goodman's fellow Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough was among those to pay tribute to the dance icon, saying he "savored the moments" they shared at the judging table.

This year's Dancing with the Stars judging panel includes Derek, former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, with Derek's sister Julianne Hough joining as co-host alongside Alfonso Ribeiro to replace Tyra Banks.

Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing will be revealing its celebrity pairings this weekend as part of its annual launch show.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for its launch special on September 16 on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
