Yahoo News Danielle Olivera Exits Bravo’s ‘Summer House’ After 7 Seasons
Bravo’s Summer House will be a little less diverse when it returns for Season 9 as Danielle Olivera has confirmed her exit from the reality series after seven seasons.
Olivera, one of the few Latin faces on the cable network, took to social media to share news of her departure from the long-running series.

“I wanted to share that I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House,” Olivera said in a statement posted on Instagram. “Obviously this decision didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought. Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”
Olivera said she decided not to return as a full-time cast member “to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me,” like her newly launched company, her people, and herself.
The reality star and entrepreneur has been getting backlash on social media since Season 7 of the show when she questioned her friends Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke if they were rushing to get married. Olivera had been known as the voice of reason up until that point, but fans quickly turned on her, claiming she still had feelings for Radke and didn’t want to see her friends happy.
Time ultimately put things into perspective and proved Olivera right, as Hubbard and Radke called off their wedding following multiple personality clashes that played throughout Season 8 of the show.
Olivera expressed her gratitude to NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Truly Original and recalled that in Season 4, she had taken a step back, “and it ended up working out better than I imagined.”
In her post, Olivera leaves the door open to possibly make an appearance on the show adding, “However I’m involved this summer, you can bet I’ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam. My goodness, season 9 you guys!!! Best of luck and sending so much love.”
Summer House Season 9 is expected to start filming in the upcoming days.
