David Beckham's touching Father's Day message as he hails his 'greatest achievement'

David Beckham has declared his children as the "biggest achievement" in his life on Father's Day. The ex-England skipper, 49, is a proud father to four children three sons Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo and one daughter Harper Seven whom he shares with his wife, former Spice Girl and now fashion mogul Victoria Beckham.

Taking to Instagram, Beckham, who has a home in the Cotswolds, penned: "My biggest achievement in life are my children, thank you @victoriabeckham for giving me these incredible people to love Always remember how much Dad loves you all xxxx."

Accompanying the heartfelt message was a snapshot of his children and father, David Edward Alan "Ted" Beckham. Beckham also expressed: "Happy Father's Day Dad have an amazing day x love you @tedbeckhamdavid x."

His wife Victoria reciprocated the sentiment on her own page, stating "you are our everything" and showered him with "so many kisses", while posting pictures of him with their children.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney, the offspring of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda McCartney, also took to social media to express "each year I am blessed to have you as my father" while sharing videos and images of her and him.

She further added: "It gets harder and harder to put into words truly how much you mean to me, dad. I hold you so close to my heart that I feel you are with me each moment of each day, in my soul and inspiring me to be the best human I can be.."

"You have always been 100 percent true to yourself, persistent in changing the planet for good, creating from the heart and making a true mark in the course of history.... Thank you for being a dad to the core, being real and giving the best hugs a baby could ever experience. Proud daughter.... Blessed and grateful xx smelly."

Sir Paul joined in with a Father's Day message on social media: "I am proud to be a dad on Father's Day and wish all the other dads in the world a great one Paul."

The former Beatle had three children with his first wife Linda: photographer Mary, fashion designer Stella, and musician James, alongside her daughter, activist Heather whom he adopted. He also has a daughter named Beatrice with his second wife Heather Mills.

Today, the musical legend is married to Nancy Shevell.

Meanwhile, pop singer Olly Murs used social media to extend an apology to his infant daughter Madison for his frequent absences, as he shared a heartfelt snap of them cozying up at home. His heartfelt words conveyed: "You're perfect in every way my little bundle of pooey nappies and I can't believe you're already nine-weeks-old."

He added humorously, "Sorry I've been on tour and now at the Euros watching England's first game but I'll makeup to (you) when I get home x big love your dad x."
