WHETHER it’s day or night, a barbers that is up for a T&A award will provide what you need.

INFINITY Hair Studio, in Great Horton Road, is one of 10 businesses that are in with a chance of winning the T&A’s ‘Best Hairdresser or Barber 2024' competition.

We recently launched the competition and an incredible 22,444 nominations came in through our online voting platform from our readers.

The names were whittled down to 10 and we have profiled eight of those finalists so far, with this the second to last.

Ghazanfar Ali, 45, has owned INFINITY Hair Studio for the past four years.

He said on finding out his business was in the top 10: “I feel really pleased – really good and proud.”

INFINITY is a place customers can go whatever their schedules might be, opening from 10am until 9pm.

Ghazanfar said: “Long hours, people mostly book in, come with appointments.”

He added: “It allows us to plan the day ahead usually.”

It is important for INFINITY to focus on reliability with timings, for this reason, but customer satisfaction is also a priority.

Ghazanfar said: “We try do our best for the local community – for local customers, we’ve got regular customers.”

He added: “It’s all about customer service.

“Everybody cuts hair but the way we cut hair and make them feel special.”

The studio does haircuts for adults and children alike, providing for both generations.

There are two other staff members who provide cuts and services but Ghazanfar says he is the main barber.

He describes the studio as a “one-stop shop for people”.

Their services include skin fades – which Ghazanfar says is their most popular style – beard trims, shape-ups, hot towels, and ear and nose waxes.

On the best part about being a barber, Ghafanzar said: “The first thing is, it pays the bills and the second thing is people’s satisfaction.

“When you make someone handsome, or beautiful, with the haircut they wanted, I feel proud doing that and meeting expectations.”

Nigel Burton, editor of the T&A, said: "Bradford has some fantastic hairdressers and barbers.

"The reader response to our search for the district’s favourites was amazing.

"It just goes to show how much people across the district appreciate their work.

"We can't wait to crown Bradford's best in our competition."

Don't miss out on your chance to shout up for your favourite hairdresser or barber - it couldn't be simpler to do.

All you need to do is fill out the voting form, which can be found in the T&A newspaper until July 6.

The overall winner will be announced on July 15.
