Swifties were quick to notice the similarities to Swift’s Evermore album cover. Reynolds even added Swift’s song to the Instagram post.

The post by the actor also reignited rumors that Swift would make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. In 2022, Reynolds said he was game to having Swift appear in the Marvel film.

“If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location,” Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight about the fan theory. Reynolds said that he would like her to appear in the upcoming movie adding, “Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”

Swift is a friend of Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively. The Gossip Girl alum was one of the friends who accompanied Swift to the Super Bowl game earlier this year that saw Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs win.

The closeness between Reynolds and Swift has made fans speculate that the singer could appear in Deadpool & Wolverine. Swift’s “All Too Well” music video was shot at Reynolds’ and Lively’s home and Reynolds made a cameo in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video.

EW recently reported that Swift didn’t make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Director Shawn Levy said that the film has many cameos, telling the same outlet, “We didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie. But they are peppered in throughout. There’s a lot of characters. The internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie. Some rumors are true, some are way off base.”
