Peacefully, in the care of Scunthorpe General Hospital, with her loving family beside her, to the sound of the dawn chorus on the 12th of April 2024, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of John, much loved mum to Jane and Linda, and sorely missed mother-in-law to Barry and Geoff. Barbara was a good friend to many and is still fondly remembered as being Flixborough's post lady for over 20 years. Stewart Miles (Bricklayer) BARWICK
(Bricklayer) Peacefully after an illness bravely borne Stewart passed away on Friday 12th April 2024 at his home in Humberston whilst surrounded by his loving family, aged 66 years. Stewart was an adored Husband of Tina, a much-loved Son of Beryl and the late Brian, a devoted Dad of Kurt and Jason, Father-in-Law of Lyndsey and Laura and a loving Grandad Stewpa of Ava and Albie. Stewart was also a treasured Brother of Ian, Andrew, Kathryn, and Melanie, Son-in-law of Theresa and the late Gerry, Brother-in-Law of Mike and Mandy and a very dear Uncle and Friend to many. Stewart will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A service to celebrate Stewart's life will take place on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 3:45pm at the Grimsby Crematorium Family flowers only but if so, desired donations may be made in lieu of Humberside and Lincolnshire Lighthouse Club (The Construction Industry Charity) in Stewart's memory or can be given on the day of the service. Peacefully on April 9th 2024, in the care of Newgrove House Care Home. Harry aged 99 years. Dearly beloved husband to the late Shirley, much loved father to Peter, Stephen, Bryan, Mary-Jane, and Andrea dear father in law to Maxine, Marie, and the late Julie, treasured grandfather to Darren, Gemma, Rebecca, Paul, Raychel, Lee, Samantha, Shaun, Christopher, Sarah, Sian and Corben, loving great grandfather to Mollie, Lacie, Courtney, Charlie, Katie, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Kallum, Taylah, Theo. Tyla, Maizy and Georgia and a very good friend to many who will be sadly missed. Service to be held at St Hugh's Church Haycroft Street Grimsby on Friday 10th May 2024 at 1pm, followed by an interment in Scartho Road Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to J.W. After a short illness Brian died peacefully at Lindsey Lodge Hospice on 16th April 2024, aged 89 years. Loving Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, Brother, Uncle and friend to many. Suddenly and unexpectedly on 13th April 2024, whilst in the care of the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby, with her loving daughter by her side, Jay aged 64 years sadly passed away. A much loved and cherished mam of Gavin, Siobhan and Michaela, a dearest mother-in-law of Lee and Daniel, an adored nanny of Callen, Caiden, Ryder and Daisy-rose, a loved sister of Lindrec, Jackie, Russell, Angie and Kate, a dear auntie, cousin and a good friend to many. A service to celebrate Jay's life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 14th May at 11:15am. By request a simple floral tribute, or if so desired a donation of hand creams will be gratefully received, and collected at the service to be donated to the hospital which will benefit the patients on the wards. Formerly Whittingham It is with the greatest sadness, we announce Delia passed away in the care of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, surrounded by her beloved family on 12th April 2024, aged 57 years. Most loved mum of Emma, Jade, & Jaimelea, treasured sister of Angie, Dean, Philip & Donna, Delia was an adored nan and great nan, a loving auntie and a good friend to many, who will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Derek died peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Monday the 15th of April. Jane was the adored Wife of Brian, a devoted Mum of Martin, a treasured Step-mum of John, and a beloved Mother-in-Law of Kelly Jane was also a much-loved Nanna of Emily and Owen, a loving Sister of Yvonne and the late Annette and Jeffrey, a very dear Aunt and Friend to many. Jane will be sadly missed by all who knew and love her. (Dave) (Retired Paramedic) It is with great sadness that we announce that unexpectedly but peacefully, Dave passed away in the loving arms of his family on Wednesday 17th April 2024 whilst in the amazing care of the Amethyst Ward at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, aged 76 years. Dave was the dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Bib), adored dad of Hayley and Andrew, loving son of the late Tom and Marjorie, beloved father-in-law of Gary and Lottie, proud and treasured grandad of Evie, much loved brother of Barry and the late Pete, special brother-in-law of Brenda, a loving uncle and cousin and special uncle to Kirsty and Cori. Dave was much loved by Cherri and Chris, Poppy and Vitalijs, Stevie, Frankie and Peaches and was shown much love and kindness by extended family in Grimsby and Devon. Dave was also a respected friend and neighbour and he will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A true gentleman who always had a smile for everyone. A service to celebrate Dave's life will take place on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 3pm at Grimsby Crematorium. Mourning dress optional.
