Peacefully on Friday 21st June 2024 Keith sadly passed away aged 67 years, whilst in the care of St Margaret's Care Home in Grimsby. Keith was the adored Son of the late Peggy and Barney Barton, a beloved Brother of Rodney, and a dear Brother-in-Law of Alma. Keith was also a dear Cousin, and Friend to many. We are sad to announce that Lizzie has gone to a better place now, after a long twelve rounds of fighting she won her battle but had to go to heaven. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Dave; her sister Sue in Vancouver; her nieces Julia and Sarah, and her nephew David. She will also be missed by her many friends, particularly from her many years as a volunteer at Scunthorpe Samaritans. Chris requested no funeral, but a celebration of her life will be announced in due course.

(Dave) The family of the late David (Dave) Whotton wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours and ex-colleagues for their kindness, kind messages, cards and flowers received following their sad loss. Thank you to all who attended Dave's funeral, respectfully making his send off a special one and for the floral tributes and charity donations, you all helped raise an amazing £710 for Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance - a charity very close to Dave's heart. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of Amethyst Ward at DPoW Hospital for their dedicated care and kindness. A special thank you to Mark Furneaux and Chris Tidman for taking great care of Dave on his journey from Exeter Hospital and to Elaine Johnson and all involved in organising his transfer. Many thanks to Tony Jewitt for his comforting service, to Kirsty and Lisa and all staff at Kettles of Grimsby for the funeral arrangements and helping to guide us as a family through a very difficult time, and also to the staff of Grimsby Golf Club.
