The dearly loved wife of Eric, devoted mum of Edward, Harry and Max, and the dear daughter of David Sutcliffe.

The cortege will leave McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade on Wednesday 5th February for Requiem Mass at St Patrick's Church, New North Road, at 1.30pm, followed by cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium at 2.45pm. Friends please meet at the Church.

On 2nd January 2025 peacefully at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Avril aged 66 years of Kirkheaton. Much loved and loving wife of Rodney, devoted Mum of Sheryl, Matt, Vicky, Laura and Hayley also a cherished Grandma, Sister and dear friend to many.

Kathleen Elizabeth (Kath) Birt

On 8th January 2025, peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary surrounded by her loving family, aged 74 years.

Kath was a loving friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Treasured mum of Sarah, Zoe, John and the late Nadine, mother-in-law of Toby and Darelle, beloved grandma of Joseph, Toni, Caitlin, Owen, Lily, Tommy and Ivy and a much loved sister of Sylivia and the late Rodney, Dorothy and Susan.

A service to celebrate Kath's life will take place on Monday 10th February at The North Light Gallery (Sons of The North), Armitage Bridge HD4 7NR at 2.00pm, followed by interment at Hey Lane Cemetery, Castle Hill at 3.00pm.

Much loved wife of the late Peter, loving mum to Steven and Richard, a proud grandma to Nathan, Melissa, Dexter and Heidi, a cherished great-grandma to Noah and Lilah, a dear mother-in-law to Amanda and Samantha, a dear sister to Margaret and good friend to many.

A service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 11th February, at 2pm. Would friends please accept this the only intimation, and kindly meet at the crematorium.

Peacefully passed away on Monday 30th December 2024 at Calderdale Royal Hospital, surrounded by his loving family aged 85 of Huddersfield.

Dear beloved partner of Doreen, Father of the late Tracy, Dad to Caroline, Anne and Dawn. Treasured Grandad and Great-Grandad and beloved Brother to Rita. Brian will be sadly missed by many.

Celebration of Brian's life will take place on Tuesday 4th February at 10.30am at Park Wood Crematorium Elland.

A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 18th February at 11.15 am.

On 22nd January 2025 Peacefully at Meadow Court Residential Care Home surrounded by her loving family, Evelyn, aged 92 years of West Slaithwaite.

Passed away quietly, on 13th January 2025 aged 86 years.

Passed away peacefully, on the 1st January 2025, aged 84 years, at his home in Bradley, surrounded by his loving family, Sam, the much loved husband of Rita, beloved dad of Sandra, Velda, Maureen, Freddie and Martin, proud grandad of Jermaine, Jade, Lei-Vann and Cobie, a great grandad of Isaac, Elijah and Ezra, also the caring brother of Eliza, a loving uncle and a good friend to many.
