Death in Paradise's Ralf Little lands new series as he reunites with co-star

Will Mellor and Death In Paradise star Ralf Little are joining forces for a brand new series.

The duo, known for their roles in Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, will be tackling a variety of challenges in each episode of Will And Ralf Should Know Better as they navigate life in their forties.

The programme, set to air on the newly rebranded U+Dave channel, will see the pair exploring the trials of living off-grid without toilet paper, embracing spirituality, and confronting their fears of ageing. An insider told The Sun: "A lot has changed for Will and Ralf since Two Pints - they were 25 and 21 when they met."

They added: "But they have stayed great pals throughout and that really comes across in the intimate, frank conversations they have along the way." The source also mentioned their joint podcast, saying: "They've got their joint podcast, but it will be nostalgic for 'Two Pints' fans to see them on telly."

The show is also expected to reintroduce the actors to audiences who may now associate Ralf more with his role as DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise, and Will from his appearances on Strictly and as Harvey Gaskell in Corrie.

Ralf, 44, expressed his excitement about reuniting with his old friend, stating: "I am thrilled to be working with Will again as it's always so much fun. This time we get to explore how we should be living in the modern world while educating ourselves, and having a laugh at the same time."

Meanwhile, 48 year old Will is hopeful that they can gain some insights from their experiences, adding: "I've wanted to do a series like this for years. Going on a journey with Ralf to open our minds and push our limits . . . what could possibly go wrong?

"We're both in our forties and probably a bit set in our ways, so now is the perfect time to see how we could be doing life better. Hopefully, we'll come out of it better equipped for the modern world and, ideally, still in one piece."

Last year Will, who played his alter-ego Gaz Wilkinson on Two Pints Of Larger And A Packet Of Crisps, opened up on wanting to bring back the show. He told the Daily Mail: "I said I would do another one, just to say thank you to the people who supported it because it ran for ten years.

"Everyone still talks to me every day in the street about it. Every day, someone will mention it. Their favourite show, growing up and, you know, had a cult following, and it'd be nice to do another series just to see where they are now," explained the Strictly star.
