At least 23 people, including four children, were killed in a missile strike on an apartment building in Uman, Ukraine, in the early hours of Friday, April 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“Only absolute evil can unleash such terror against Ukraine,” he wrote in a post on Facebook.
Rescue work at the site in Uman, roughly 215 km south of the capital Kyiv, continued on Saturday, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.
In addition to Friday’s strike on Uman, a separate strike on the city of Dnipro killed a mother and her two-year-old daughter, Zelensky added. Credit: Volodymyr Zelensky via Storyful
