DeepTech Recycling has secured the first suite in Wootton Science Park's new Origin lab building.

The plastic recycling tech firm has moved into its new home in the purposely constructed unit located in the south-west of Oxford.

Since 1975, Hartwell Plc, an auto and property development company, has been expanding the park which was completed by March 2024.

DeepTech is known for its revolutionary approach to resolving the plastic waste issue via its patented technology.

The company transforms non-recyclable waste such as food packaging film, trays and polystyrene into oil.

It recently relocated its technology and projects staff to Oxford to leverage the local ecosystem, leaving its business and finance personnel in London.

Marvine Besong, managing director and CTO at DeepTech said: "We focused our search for new premises in Oxfordshire because we wanted to be located in a world-leading science and technology cluster."

Joanne Churchill, development manager, Hartwell Plc, said: "We warmly welcome DeepTech Recycling and their team to Wootton Science Park.

She further added that securing their first letting is a testament to the whole team.

Located close to the A420 or A34, Wootton Science Park provides easy access to Oxford and its numerous science and business parks.

Hartwell Plc recently revealed its £35 million vision for the park's next phase of development, which includes a range of new amenities.
