Demonstrations in Tel Aviv Amid Judicial Reform Tensions

Protesters blocked roads in Tel Aviv on Thursday, May 4, as part of demonstrations over an array of social issues and controversial judicial reforms paused last month by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Among the issues protesters sought to address were women’s rights and alleged draft exemptions for ultra-Orthodox Jews, according to The Times of Israel.
