Denise Van Outen has revealed that burglars broke into her Essex home and stole personal items such as her sex toy.
The former The Big Breakfast presenter was left horrified after thieves used her social media posts to identify when she wouldn’t be home and proceeded to break in.
Opening up about the ordeal on Monday’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, the 47-year-old admitted she had been left flabbergasted by the items taken by the intruders.

“The worst part for me after that burglary was they took random things, but they also went through my knicker drawer,” she began. “So I just know that they have taken... I can't say what they took, but you can imagine.”
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant continued: “But there is some fella in a pub - or woman - waving it around!"
She later quipped that she just wanted her "device" back because she got candid about the lasting impact the invasion of her home had on her life.
The mum of one admitted: "It is the worst feeling. Anybody out there who has been burgled, I sympathise with you. It is awful."
The Only Way Is Essex narrator added: "They never caught the burglars and I just had to up the security and take those steps towards making my home a safer place and being more aware."
Van Outen has been living alone following her split with her fiancé Eddie Boxshall earlier this year.
The pair, who had been fan-favourites on Celebrity Gogglebox, had been together for seven years and even planned to tie the knot in 2021 before being forced to postpone the ceremony.
The Chicago star confirmed the split with an emotional Instagram post that read: “Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.
"It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.”
"I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children,” she concluded.
