STAFF at Flapjackery’s shop in Wells were "astonished" when TV and Radio presenter Dermot O'Leary dropped by for a sweet treat.

The star was travelling home from Glastonbury Festival and "couldn't resist the temptation" of Flapjackery's tasty treats as he stocked up on gluten-free flapjacks, the bakery said.

Shop assistant Sophie Bloodworth was thrilled to meet the famous presenter, but couldn't put a name to the face.

She said: "I knew he was famous, but I couldn't remember his name, as he looks so different in real life, so I had to ask him! He was lovely and took a big pile of flapjacks with him."

When asked about his favourite flavour, Sophie confessed she was too starstruck to remember, but suggested it was probably the same as hers, Apple and Blackcurrant.

But that wasn't the only celebrity sighting at the Flapjackery bakeries on Monday.

Just hours later, Brian May and Anita Dodson stopped by the shop at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and purchased a bag of flapjacks from Flapjackery's Martin Glenton.

But that's not all, Vanessa Feltz then stopped by and broadcast her love of Flapjackery to her 394k instagram followers.

Flapjackery has 14 shops across the Westcountry, with every flapjack handmade at their Tavistock bakery in West Devon.
