Princess Eugenie‘s wedding dress will be designed by Erdem, according to bookies.

Erdem, founded by Canadian-born Erdem Moralioglu, is a London-based design house. Bookies at Ladbrokes have given odds of 7/2 for this to be Eugenie’s designer of choice.

The brand has been favoured by Princess Eugenie, 28, lately. She wore an Erdem dress for her official engagement portrait with fiancé Jack Brooksbank, 31, earlier this year, and another Erdem outfit at Royal Ascot.

The Duchess of Cambridge is also a fan of the label and has worn looks by the house, helmed by 41-year-old designer Erdem Moralıoğlu, on a number of occasions.

Other bets on Eugenie’s dress designer include Suzannah (5/1), Jenny Packham (6/1) and Alice Temperley (10/1).

Betters will have been influenced heavily by a clue Eugenie dropped earlier this year.

She told British Vogue in August: “I’m not telling anyone who is making it, but I can say it is a British-based designer.

“[The dress] is the one thing that I was really decisive about. As soon as we announced the wedding, I knew the designer, and the look, straight away.

“I never thought I’d be the one who knew exactly what I like, but I’ve been pretty on top of it.”

This certainly seems to point to Erdem, who is not British born but certainly is British based.

Eugenie’s dress isn’t the only thing Ladbrokes betters are speculating about.

There are further bets Eugenie will soon have her first child with Jack, with odds of 3/1 she will give birth in 2019.

What’s more, people are also betting on the colour of the Queen’s hat. Blue is the favourite at 2/1, however it could also be pink (3/1), orange (4/1) or purple (5/1), according to odds.

Of course, betters aren’t always right in their royal wedding predictions. While bookies’ odds for Meghan Markle’s wedding dress fell in favour of Ralph & Russo, the Duchess of Sussex surprised us all in a Givenchy gown designed by Clare Waight Keller.
