Desperate search for missing Leon, 40, who may be driving blue Range Rover

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing man who has not been seen for nearly 24 hours. The last confirmed sighting of Leon - whose last name has not been released - was in the Poolfields area of Newcastle-under-Lyme at 6pm yesterday (May 21).

Leon, from Newcastle, has also previously been seen in Alsager. He is around 5ft 9ins tall and described as white. Officers believe he may be driving a blue Range Rover.

Now members of the public are being urged to report any sightings of Leon as the search to find him steps up.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned over the whereabouts of missing 40-year-old Leon, from Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was last seen in the Poolfields area at 6pm yesterday. If you have any information about Leon’s whereabouts, please get in touch."

Sightings should be reported to Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 7 of May 22 or message using Live Chat on the force's website.. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
