Dan Judge, clinic director of Window to the Womb & firstScan Hull, said: "We are thrilled to be opening a new clinic in Hull. We have been operating in Doncaster for more than seven years and have long-planned to expand into Hull. We know that many of our patients were travelling from Hull to Doncaster for scans with us so when we were considering a new location to expand, Hull was the natural choice.
"There are many young families living locally, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming them into our new clinic. We've found a great location on Oslo Road, in the Sutton Fields area, that is perfect for us, has plenty of parking and is conveniently located for ease of access across Hull and the wider East Riding area. The local businesses have already been so welcoming and we are excited to be opening later this month.
"We offer scans across all three trimesters and have become a much-valued lifeline for anxious mums who have been unable to be seen in the NHS in the first trimester. We understand that not every parent wants to know the gender of their new baby before the birth, but for those who simply can’t wait, we can offer confirmation by way of a scan with approximately 99% accuracy, from just 15 weeks, some five weeks earlier than hospital scans.
"Or for those that are extra keen to know, we will soon be offering a gender blood test at seven weeks too. We will also be selling lots of items for gender reveal parties which are becoming increasingly popular.
"Our 4D scans allow parents to witness the unborn child’s early movements from yawns, stretches and tugging at the umbilical cord as well as a first glimpse of their baby’s facial features.
“Our sonographers are highly qualified and expectant parents can be confident that we have both the experience and expertise to deliver the most professional, compassionate, and efficient care. As well as offering scans from as little as £60, we are also able to accommodate as many as four additional family members and friends into our scan room, enabling grandparents, siblings and friends to share in the special first moments of life."
