Did Tracker Tease Spinoff? Is SYTYCD Nixing Live Shows? Is Grey’s Doc Officially Unlikable? Was FBI’s Isobel Out of Line? And More TV Qs!
We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Tracker, So You Think You Can Dance, Station 19 and FBI!
| As nice as it is to see Rick and Michonne living the good life on The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, aren’t things coming to them a little too easily this far into the dystopia? A hybrid pick-up truck, cases of ramen, a full bottle of Black Label…? (And as reader Lisa H. asked, would Rick and Michonne really have been dumb to leave noodle wrappers like a trail of bread crumbs for Jadis to follow?) Also, are the walkers who bit Jadis some new variant that is utterly silent until the instant it attacks?

| Intentional or not, did Sunday’s Tracker — which introduced Justin Hartley’s real-life wife/Blood & Treasure vet Sofia Pernas as fellow reward seeker Billie Matalon — feel like a backdoor pilot for a potential Pernas-led spinoff of CBS’ freshman hit? Titled TrackHer, maybe?
| Did CSI: Vegas’ “killer robots” case leave you with more questions than usual? Did we not get the usual reenactment flashback of the actual murder?
| American Idol-watching Swifties, did you get a kick out of the show playing Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” when Liliana Tovar Dalton got her ticket to Hollywood — a song famously about Idol judge Katy Perry?
| The Way Home fans, was it just us or was there a vibe between Kat and Susanna in the last episode?
| For all the hype about an “shocking,” “unprecedented” ending on The Bachelor, how is it that the finale’s most surprising moment was seeing Joey’s final two women Kelsey and Daisy carpool to the last rose ceremony together? (And did you think said carpool meant they were both heading to break things off with Joey, or would at least head down to the rose ceremony together?) Plus, with Jesse bringing out Daisy to explain why she won’t be the next Bachelorette, didn’t that make it look like new Bachelorette Jenn wasn’t the producers’ first choice?
| In the wake of the latest NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i episodes, which spinoff do you think is more of a(n eventual) sure thing: NCIS: Far East or NCIS: Elite?
| It made for a very poignant scene at the suit store, yes, but… Bob Hearts Abishola’s Bob is just now realizing he lost some 150 lbs. over the past couple of years?
| For every made-up true-crime show, was The Neighborhood forced to reference fellow CBS program 48 Hours? And on a scale from one to mountain lion, how bad was the green screen work this week?
| Based on So You Think You Can Dance‘s preview at the end of this week’s episode, are we to assume this season will have zero live performance or results shows? And if so, how much less interested are you in watching the entire competition?
| With WWE’s Drew McIntyre visiting Mindy’s Bakery — CM Punk ate one of their muffins during his infamous AEW All Out rant — before Monday Night Raw in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, is it safe to say that McIntyre has reached elite hater status? And who else reached for the vomit pail when The Rock rubbed Cody Rhodes’ blood all over his hand and then smeared it onto his custom “Mama Rhodes” belt at the end of Raw?
| ABC’s Dr. Odyssey, CBS’ Watson, Fox’s Doc, NBC’s Dr. Wolf, Max’s The Pitt, Netflix’s Pulse…. Is anyone else sensing a trend heading into the 2024-25 TV season? And speaking of the The Pitt, any other ER fans holding out hope that the lack of information disclosed about Noah Wyle’s character could mean that maybe, juuuust maybe, they’ll eventually announce that he’s reprising Carter, and The Pitt is actually a stealth ER spinoff? (Doubtful, we know, but let us dream!)
| How does Shōgun’s Blackthorne keep lucking into all these lofty appointments and lavish gifts from Toranaga? And how much must Toranaga’s other henchmen resent him for that?
| Were you surprised just how soon Will Trent revealed the childhood trauma responsible for Agent Trent’s recent hallucinations? And who do you think is out to make Amanda “pay”?
| How many Good Doctor viewers visited IMDb multiple times throughout Tuesday’s episode in an attempt to ID each guest star (which included Kevin Can Wait survivor Erinn Hayes, Dead to Me’s Brendan Scott and My So-Called Life’s Bess Armstrong)? And what are the chances that next week’s episode — which ABC’s promo department is touting as “the must-see episode with a heart-stopping moment” — will live up to the hype?
| During Maggie’s annual performance review, how is FBI’s Isobel allowed to ask “if there’s anything personal” she should know about “that could affect your job”? Um, HR! Also, why did Maggie call out the ricin guy’s name from 10 feet away, instead of coming up from behind/tackling him?
| Wasn’t Roz’s courtroom wedding in the Night Court finale a nice throwback to when sitcom weddings would always happen at the characters’ homes/places of work/other existing sets? And what’d you think of that wild paternity twist at the end?
| Who wants to tell Netflix that it’s spelled Conners (with an E) and not Connors (with an O)? (Oh, looks like someone already did!)
| “Third strike”? Doesn’t it feel like Chicago Med’s Zola has had 500 second chances?
| If one of Constellation‘s Fisher-Price tape players melted in the fire last week, how were there two again in the finale, for the Alices to communicate with each other?
| Considering how small Olivia Colman’s Heartstopper role is, were you surprised by how hard hit you were by the news that Nick’s mum wouldn’t be in Season 3? Wouldn’t the only thing worse be a season without Nellie?
| Did none of the Grey’s Anatomy doctors surrounding the patient in the watercraft have a phone with which to record his farewell message to his wife? Also, has Lucas become completely unlikable… or is he just the new Season 1 Alex? And per TVLine reader Joe, “Wouldn’t the Chief of Neuro have a dedicated parking spot?”
| The way Station 19 shot Travis and Eli’s fight, were you sure one of them was going to go over that railing? And after the way Theo behaved toward Vic throughout Season 6, are we supposed to feel sorry — or anything! — for him now that he regrets blowing it with her?
| Should June Diane Raphael go ahead and book a flight to New York to play Ronna McDaniel on SNL this weekend?
| Remind us why NBC doesn’t re-air its acclaimed Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert special from 2018 every year at Eastertime…? (It’s not even on Peacock!)
