Ralf Little shares update amid DIP filming breakBBC

Death in Paradise star Ralf Little has revealed he took part in a charity football game during a brief season 13 filming break.

Taking to his Instagram account, Little explained that the Death in Paradise crew were currently on a two-week filming break, which had allowed him to travel back to the UK for the charity football match with Game4Ukraine.

"Here's a little update on what's going on in my life," he said in the video on Saturday (August 5).

"Today I am playing in a massive football game called Game4Ukraine to raise money for schools and supporting Ukraine as much as possible.

"I love playing in these kind of games but this one, in particular, is pretty special."

Going on to reveal that he'd just touched down from the Caribbean and was currently feeling the effects of jet-lag, the actor continued: "I did only land from the Caribbean yesterday.

"We just went on break for Death in Paradise for two weeks, so the timing was perfect. But I landed yesterday, didn't sleep much last night.

"I'm kind of jet-lagged. I'm not getting the excuses out in advance, but I'm jet-lagged, slightly injured and very old. So, we'll see how it goes."

Meanwhile, Little has recently been busy sharing regular filming updates with fans while filming for the BBC crime drama, including the "surprise guests" who joined the crew on set in DI Parker's shack.

Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
