Disney Staffer Wielding Knife On Fox Lot Taken Into Custody By LAPD
A Disney employee is in police custody today after welding a knife on the Fox lot.
The LAPD was called at around 9:20 a.m. after receiving a report that a woman in her 30s was “acting aggressive towards security.”

Taken into custody by the LAPD, the woman is currently undergoing a “psych evaluation,” law enforcement sources confirm.
She is not under arrest and has not been charged. The woman, an employee of Disney, works on the Fox Studio lot in Century City, sources say. The incident happened near her office.
The staffer has been removed from the Fox lot for the foreseeable future, I hear.
Disney has leased space on the 53-acre Century City lot since the company acquired the bulk of Fox’s assets in a $71.3 billion deal finalized in 2019. In that context, a number of Disney employees, including top TV executives, have offices and desks on the Fox lot.
Neither representatives for Disney nor Fox responded to request for comment on the matter.
