Diva legend Beverley Knight wows Isle of Wight Festival crowd in sunshine

SUPERSTAR soul diva Beverley Knight had the Isle of Wight Festival's Main Stage crowd eating from the palm of her hand with her Sunday afternoon performance.

The weather matched the mood as Knight, with a big voice and exquisite vocal range, wowed the huge and appreciative crowd.

Knight, 50,  who has also made her name as a West End performer, with Sister Act and The Bodyguard to her name in recent times, belted out classic after classic.

Among her set was her big hit Shoulda Woulda Coulda, but she also showed her versatility by singing Janis Joplin's Piece of My Heart and, more unusually, Radiohead's Just.
