Doc Martin Christmas special details revealed - the drama's last ever episode
Doc Martin is coming back for one final hurrah, with details of the Christmas special revealed.
The ITV drama starring Martin Clunes came to an end earlier this year with series 10, its final run, but will make one last return to Portwenn for Christmas.

Fans of the show will know that in the last episode, Dr Martin Ellingham and his wife Louisa (Caroline Catz) decided to stay in Cornwall rather than moving to London for the Doc to take up a prestigious new job.
But while they might have chosen to stay with their Portwenn community, it seems the Doc is no more cheerful for his change of heart as he sets about trying to ruin Christmas.
Clunes said: "You can imagine the doctor isn’t too keen on Christmas for his own tortured reasons. It’s never stopped making me laugh, I don’t know why because if it was a real person who had had such an awful upbringing you’d feel nothing but pity for them, but because it is him it just makes me laugh."

The village is getting into the festive spirit when Doc Martin closes down the grotto as Santa - aka Leonard, played by Ron Cook - complains of itching and the Doc fears he has something contagious.
All of the children, including the GP's own, are devastated, so Leonard tries to make it up to them by delivering presents down the Ellinghams' chimney.
However, a furious Doc Martin chases him away, witnessed by young son James who runs off in search of Santa.
Meanwhile, Louisa is trying to rekindle the festive magic with a lantern parade which looks set to be thwarted by a local councillor who has a nasty accident, while Morwenna (Jessica Ransom) takes pity on a prize turkey that locals have been guessing the weight of and decides to set it free.
PC Joe Penhale (John Marquez) is roped in as another Santa for the parade and pharmacist Mrs Tishell (Selina Cadell) tries to steal a moment under the mistletoe with a horrified Doc Martin.
But when the Doc has to accompany anaemic Santa Leonard to a hospital appointment after an accident, he hears all about the heartbreaking reason the festive period is so important to Leonard - will it change his own bah humbug attitude?
Doc Martin's Christmas special will air this Christmas on ITV.
