Following a successful debut run of shows in early 2024, one of Bristol's newest events venues - DOCUMENT - has unveiled a new run of shows between September and December, featuring big names from the world of bass, techno, disco, drum n bass, and 'beyond'.

With an opening event on Friday, September 27, live shows will run right up to New Year's Eve, with nine dates announced in total, and still acts to be announced. DOCUMENT is just a five-minute walk from Cabot Circus and was launched by the team behind Motion back in 2023.

Divided into five separate areas, it includes office spaces, a gym and an area for pop-up vintage and thrift markets, as well as outdoor food vendors. Its biggest area is Facility, an industrial space that spans the entire ground floor and is described as the heart of the venue, hosting raves and live music.

The opening event on Friday, September 27, sees bass music mainstay Bru-C lead a line-up of old and new talent, from veteran jungle MC General Levy, to fresh names such as London-based producer/DJ Alcemist and vocalist, Charlotte Plank. The following weekend, on Friday, October 4, will feature a headline show from contemporary UKG King Sammy Virjii. Support acts are yet to be confirmed.

For Halloween, on October 26, there will be "an absolutely massive DnB Allstars 360 day party", organisers say - the line-up for this one is to be announced soon. Then, on Friday, November 1, Solid Grooves co-founder PAWSA takes to the stage alongside Wheats and Lindsey Matthews.

And, on November 9, organisers say: "It's time to don your shiniest outfit and dance your way to the discotheque, as everyone's favourite groovy party-starters, Glitterbox, host a day party, with an exciting line-up to be announced". Another day party will take place on Saturday, November 23, with renowned bass-focused club night 'Worried About Henry' returns, with DIMENSION and others taking to the stage.

Finally, as December rolls around, a range of brands from different corners of dance music will 'deliver their own flavours', with all line-ups yet to be announced. Iconic bass imprint UKF comes to town on Friday, December 6, before a house and disco day party from Defected Records the next day.

Ending 2024 'with a bang' will be the "jaw-dropping" immersive Foreverland New Year's Eve event. Running from 5pm until 3am, this "massive" event will see the venue taken over completely, with "trippy visuals, interactive characters and immersive decor taking you to another dimension".
