Dog in tiny Christmas jumper beaten and abandoned in car park
A dog wearing a tiny Christmas jumper was beaten by a man and then kicked out of a van in Scotland.
The animal was seen being punched, kicked, and shouted at before being left in a car park at Inchwood Business Park in Bathgate, West Lothian, on Thursday.
The distinctive Jack Russell type dog is tan and has white patches on her chest and feet.
She was wearing a brown Christmas jumper with white reindeer on it and a Remembrance Day poppy.

The Scottish SPCA rescued the dog but have not been able to track down her owners.
The pet is microchipped but the animal welfare charity has been unable to trace any details from the chip.
SPCA inspector Fiona Thorburn, said: “A member of the public witness a man shouting and punching the dog in his van.
“He also kicked the dog and then left her in the car park and drove away.
“Thankfully, the witness contacted us and waited with the dog until we attended.
“We’re very grateful to the member of the public who helped this dog and reported the incident."

The vehicle the man was driving was a white Ford transit van.
The male was described as having a stocky build, with dark hair.
Thorburn added: “There was also a woman in the van at the time, although she did not harm the dog.”
