Dog Overjoyed to Reunite With National Guardsman After 10-Month Deployment

A National Guardsman returning home from a 10-month deployment was greeted with utmost enthusiasm by his four-legged best friend in Nebraska on Thursday, February 22, footage shows.

Specialist Jack Vogel, a combat medic, reunited with his dog, Denver, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Lincoln on Thursday. Vogel had been deployed to the Horn of Africa since April 2023 with the Nebraska Army National Guard’s Co A, 2-134th Infantry.
