Doggie Paddle: Terrier Thinks He Has to Swim as He's Carried Near Sea

A Welsh terrier on a day out at the seaside in Folkestone was a little perplexed when he was carried out over the water along the pier.

Footage recorded by Patricia Wheeler shows Fergus the terrier frantically paddling his paws as he is carried along, with the sea sea below and at all sides.

“He can see the water underneath the grates so he thinks he needs to swim,” Wheeler wrote.
