Dominant pitching earns Wallace Baseball historic feat

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Wallace baseball team made history when Ellis Yohn became the third member of the Govs to be named Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Pitcher of the Week.

The Governors won three consecutive Pitcher of the Week Awards and this time it was done by three different pitchers on the same team.

Yohn won the award after throwing six scoreless innings against Tallahassee Community College (TCC). He struck out six and walked two.

This season Yohn has been a pitcher, a catcher a designated hitter, and has played outfield for the Govs.
