Donny van de Beek Man United talks confirmed as Ronald Araujo transfer reality clear
Manchester United are currently reeling from their latest defeat in the Premier League.
United lost 1-0 to Arsenal on Sunday and remain in eighth place in the league table. As a result, qualifying for Europe was dealt a major blow thanks to the defeat, with just two matches left in the top flight.
Erik ten Hag's side do still have the chance to win a major trophy this season, though. Later this month the Reds will travel to Wembley Stadium to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
In the aftermath of the defeat to Arsenal, there is plenty of noise surrounding United and what may happen in the summer transfer window. MEN Sport takes a look at the latest reports around the Reds that are doing the rounds.

Barcelona set Araujo price tag
Barcelona have reportedly named their price amid continued speculation around Ronald Araujo's future.
United have been heavily linked with a move for Araujo for the last few months, with Bayern Munich also credited with an interest. Spanish news outlet Sport has provided an update on the centre-back's future at the Camp Nou.
The report claims that Barcelona would demand at least €100 million (£86 million) in order to consider letting Araujo leave the club. It has been claimed, though, that Bayern Munich are the current front runners to complete a deal to sign Araujo this summer.
MEN Sport's Mark Wakefield says: Araujo has been linked with United for some time, but it remains to be seen if any of that interest is genuine. What is known is that United are looking to strengthen the centre-back department this summer, and it's uncertain if the Reds will have the budget to spend £86 million or more on just one player unless some members of the squad leave Old Trafford.
Agent makes Donny van de Beek claim
Donny van de Beek's agent has claimed that the playmaker will not be part of United's long-term future and confirmed talks will be held over his future.
Van de Beek joined United from Ajax in a £35 million deal in 2020, but is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. The midfielder's agent, Guido Albers, has claimed that Van de Beek will return to United this summer, but does not plan on remaining at Old Trafford for next season.
"Officially he is now going back to Manchester United and I am now in discussions with him," Albers told ESPN's Goedemorgen Eredivisie. "Donny does not want to stay in the Premier League, also because United do not want that. That is not a good choice for him.
"He needs to return to a club that plays good football. In any case, he will not return to Ajax.
"My preference was to look in Spain, Italy or France. If I could get him in Spain or Italy that would be fantastic, at a club where he will play as a No.10 like he played at Ajax. You see that the Dutch are successful in a certain way in Spanish or Italian football.
"He was very close to a transfer to Real Sociedad last summer. That was cancelled at the last minute because Erik ten Hag wanted to keep him until the last minute. Then he ended up at Frankfurt."
MEN Sport's Mark Wakefield says: Donny van de Beek arrived with plenty of promise following his move from Ajax nearly four years ago. However, things just did not pan out the way many would have hoped for the Netherlands international. It's still uncertain what the future holds, but there will always be a sense of 'what could have been' for United and Van de Beek himself.
