The Doors Surviving Band Members To Reunite

The surviving members of The Doors are set to reunite in honour of the band's late keyboard player Ray Manzarek, who died in May.

Guitarist Robby Krieger told Rolling Stone that he and fellow band member John Densmore will play at least one show in memory of Manzarek.

Manzarek died of cancer in May at the age of 74.

The reunion marks a return to cordial relations for Krieger and Densmore following years of bitter feuding.

The pair became involved in a legal dispute when Krieger and Manzarek began touring again under the name The Doors of the 21st Century in 2002.

Speaking of the prolonged legal battle with Densmore, Krieger told the magazine: "I can't hate him forever. I just wish he (Densmore) had wanted to play with Ray and I before this all started."

He added: "We are going to do at least one show for Ray and have a big send off. That's either the start of it or the end of it, I don't know."
