Deon Derrico is in a good place following his bombshell divorce from Karen Derrico.

The Doubling Down with the Derricos patriarch gave fans an update on Instagram on June 24, as he recorded a video of himself while visiting his mother, GG, in the hospital, who he said is "doing very well."

“I have a PSA – public service announcement. I am doing mentally great. I really and truly am," Deon said as he began the video. "It’s not a cover-up, it's not a facade. I’m doing very good."

He admitted that he's "dealing with a lot," but he's still in a good place mentally. "I have a lot going on, a lot of you guys know what I have going on, but no, I’m not suicidal," the father of 14 reassured fans.

"I try to make people happy because of what I’ve gone through, and me understanding what pain is like, and wanting to make it better for other people," he continued. "But there’s no way under God’s green earth am I in any way kind of depressed, suicidal, any of those things."

"Deon Derrico is good. I am good. I’m really and truly mentally good, but thank you guys for your expressed concerns," he concluded the video.

In the caption, he elaborated further on the statement, writing, "I’m not in ANYWAY SAD or depressed, I have never ever been suicidal!!!"

He again noted that he's "been inundated with a lot of challenges here recently, but I’m emotionally very healthy, sound in my thinking, and feeling very blessed for my great health and family!!!"

Deon's statement comes days after his ex-wife shared a similar update on Instagram, telling followers in a video posted on June 20, "I am doing as good as can be."

"The children are doing good. It’s summertime, we definitely want to keep them all busy and occupied, and that’s the plan right now," Karen, 44, said as she thanked her followers and fans of the TLC series for the DMs she's received and other messages of support since the news of her divorce.

"I feel the love. I genuinely feel the love. It’s, like, I can almost get emotional," she said. "To see the outpour is just amazing. So I just wanted to tell you all, thank you for the love and support."
