Laganja Estranja has a major update on her trans journey!

The RuPaul's Drag Race season 6 alum caught up with PEOPLE at the GLAAD X POSSE Pride Party earlier this month in Hollywood, and shared where she is three years after coming out as a trans woman.

"The journey has been amazing so far," Estranja, 35, told PEOPLE exclusively. "That doesn't mean it doesn't come with complications or things that are difficult. But I am finally ready to start exploring surgery, so I've had some consultations and just looking at approaching it the most natural way possible."

When asked to elaborate, the drag artist said she was looking into less invasive surgical options.

"I'm very fearful of implants, of my body rejecting them," she explained. "So I'm looking at the different ways on how to achieve the look without doing super invasive surgery."

Estranja went on to explain how she aims to get more curves without implants.

"Right now I'm looking at doing a fat transfer, so that would kill two problems at once. I would get skinny where I need to be and put it where I want it," she said half-jokingly.

The performer, who is known for her acrobatic tricks, says she's been booked and busy during June, including literally kicking off Pride Month alongside Kesha.

"Pride has been insane for me! I opened the main stage with Morphine Love Dion from the current season of Drag Race and I got to hold Kesha's hand and do a jump split next to her!" she said. "It was iconic."

She also released a Pride anthem called "HAWT" Thursday, June 20.

"I think it's just all about feeling fierce and having fun this summer," she said of the new track. "I wanted to make something lighthearted, something that people could put on when they were getting ready to feel good and feel jazzed up before they go out."

Speaking of "HAWT," the performer shared one tip on how she stays in shape.

"I definitely do a lot of performances which keeps me active, but also hot yoga," she recommended.

Back in June 2021, Estranja told Entertainment Weekly what inspired her to come out as trans.

"There are so many other women around me who've inspired me to come forward today, and it's because of their fight and their struggle that I'm able to really do this and say that I'm nervous, but I'm not scared," Estranja said. "I'm not going to live my life in fear anymore."
