Drag Race UK's Ellie Diamond taking break from drag due to cost of living
Drag Race UK star Ellie Diamond has announced she's taking a break from drag due to the cost of living crisis.
The Scottish queen, who placed fourth in the second series of the BBC One reality show, has shared a message on Twitter to explain that she is "definitely putting Ellie aside" during this difficult time.
"Hey everyone I thought I'd just update and let you know what's going on with me at the moment," she tweeted. "I'm currently in a new house after leaving my flat due to cost of living and rent being so expensive for where I was. So a lot of my things are back in storage, including all my drag outfits."

Ellie continued: "This decision has been very easy to make as what I need currently is stability with a job and routine that drag life doesn't give me currently.
"I'm not quitting drag by any means but I'm definitely putting Ellie aside for the moment."
Ellie has received overwhelming support for putting herself first, with co-star Tia Kofi assuring her she's making the best decision for herself.
"Glad you're focusing on you, my love. You are what'st most important," Tia wrote.
