'Dramatic' Dog Can't Hide Disappointment While Tasting Turnip

A dog’s excitement quickly turned into disappointment when he chomped down on an expected treat and discovered that it was, in fact, a piece of turnip.

Footage filmed by Rachel White in Thunder Bay, Ontario, shows her handing the turnip to her dog as she prepped dinner over Thanksgiving weekend.

The pooch gives her a look of pure dismay upon tasting the vegetable — even though he enjoyed the snack the last time he’d tried it, according to White.

“My dog is extremely dramatic,” White told Storyful. “He was loving turnip a couple weeks ago and I thought I’d give him some while I was preparing Thanksgiving dinner.” Credit: Rachel White via Storyful
