Aside from the obvious sartorial smash hit of the Duchess of Sussex’s gorgeous Givenchy gown, the royal nuptials were awash with wedding guest dresses to die for.

While not as show-stealing as Amal Clooney’s canary yellow Stella McCartney number, or as delightfully ethereal as Carey Mulligan’s Erdem, a quiet yet undoubted winner in the style stakes was Victoria Beckham, who wore a elegant slashed front, long-sleeved navy midi dress, paired with matching pillarbox hat and fiery orange courts.

In the wake of the wedding the company received so many calls from eager customers wanting to know where they might buy the navy sensation that eventually the waiting list was so long VB decided to include the dress in her spring/summer 2019 ready-to-wear collection.

Today it went on sale, early.

"I went to a very special wedding recently and wanted to wear something that felt feminine, and appropriate, but that also had a bit of an edge to it,” Beckham said of her fluid design with D-ring detail. “This dress was the perfect choice, I felt great in it all day and knew I wanted to make it available for my customer this summer."

Normally customers would have to wait until nearer Christmas to shop spring/summer 2019, but sensing a sell-out, VB wisely sped up production, and the dress is now available online and in store from today.

Hurry though, this one’s bound to go faster than you can say 'Bend it Like Beckham'.
