Firefighters were subjected to a foul-mouthed rant by a motorist after they challenged him for parking across the driveway of their station.

The Birmingham firefighters were told to "f*** off" by the motorist who parked on the station's forecourt, which needs to be clear at all times for emergency access.

The Kings Norton Fire Brigade claimed that when one of their team asked the man to move his vehicle, he launched into an f-word rant language before heading off to grab some breakfast.

The post on Twitter read: “This car has been left on our station cobbles, when asked to move he has told us to F$*£ off whilst he got his breakfast from the cafe opposite, some people have no consideration! Stay safe out there!”

The post gained support from members of the public who were outraged at the driver’s behaviour.

Cricklade Fire Station replied with their own example of an incident where a driver refused to move their vehicle.

Diane White commented: "Absolutely unbelievable! So sorry you’re having to deal with an inconsiderate **** like this - time to move it with a big red engine."

While Chris Constantinou wrote: "Real sorry that you guys have to put up with this. Outrageous. Hope you reported this individual."
